This month Elmbridge Museum created a pop-up exhibition to support Thames Ditton Infant School with their 150th Anniversary. The exhibition took place in the school on an open day where the children and their families were invited to immerse themselves into the past, exploring domestic objects and Victorian fashion. This project followed a series of Victorian activities by Thames Ditton Infant school with Elmbridge Museum providing Discovery Boxes and Victorian Domestic Life workshops to the entire school. As the final part of Elmbridge Museum's involvement with the school's anniversary celebrations it was great to hear the children recognise and recall information about objects and share it with their families.
