2025 saw the 80th anniversaries of Victory in Europe Day and Victory over Japan Day. To honour these anniversaries, Elmbridge Museum has curated ‘Echoes of War’. Explore authentic WW2 artefacts from the Museum’s collection, highlighting life on the Home Front in our Borough. Discover artwork from Year 6 children at St Andrew’s C of E Primary School in Cobham.
This VE and VJ Day commemoration project is supported using public funding by UK Government through Arts Council England.
Echoes of War can be viewed during the below hours –
Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 4:30pm
Special family open days: Saturday 7th & 21st Feb, 10:30am to 3:30pm
