Social media house rules

Welcome to the official social media channels of Elmbridge Museum.

We use social media to share local history stories, highlights from our collections, information about exhibitions and events, and updates about our work in the community. We want our channels to be welcoming, informative and enjoyable for everyone.

  • make our content as accessible as possible
  • respond to questions and enquiries where we can
  • direct you to the right council or museum contact when needed

What we ask from you

Please:

  • be respectful to other users and museum staff
  • keep comments relevant to the conversation
  • avoid sharing personal or sensitive information
  • respect copyright and intellectual property
  • follow the rules of the social media platform you are using

Users who repeatedly break these rules may be blocked from our channels.

Complaints and enquiries
