Cecil Hepworth's legacy in the movie industry is important, so come and explore the beginnings of cinema right on your doorstep.

The staff at Elmbridge Museum will help you to learn more about Cecil Hepworth, a local cinema stalwart. Find out about his early attempts at movie making and take part in craft activities based around early movie making.

Come and join us on Wednesday 24th July, 2024 from 10:30 to 11:30 am at Walton Library.

Bookings recommended.

The session is aimed at primary aged children who want to learn and have fun.

The event is free but small donations are welcome.
