How much does an outreach session cost?

Our outreach sessions are £60 per session. Each session can accommodate up to 30 children.

If you have an Elmbridge Museum school membership, you can book up to 5 outreach sessions a year for free as part of your membership.

Booking a session is quick and easy to do. Simply head to our booking page and fill out an online form. A member of our friendly learning team will be in touch to arrange your booking!

Will I need to prepare anything before the session?

We will provide all the equipment for the session, including craft supplies. Please make sure that there are at least two adults present for each session.

If the session will be taking place in a hall or community centre, please ensure that there is access to chairs and tables at the location. If this not possible, or you are unsure about any of the above, contact our learning team and we will be happy to help!

Can I book if I don't have a museum membership?

You do not have to be part of our school membership programme to book one of our outreach sessions. Our resources are available for all members of the community to learn from. Whether you are a school, youth group or local history society, let us know if you would like to use one of our outreach sessions and we will be happy to help.

If you are a school based in Elmbridge you might want to take a look at our membership offer. You can book up to five outreach sessions as part of your membership! Take a look at our school membership page to find out more.

In this workshop we use role play and props to retell the story of Cesar's life, from the challenges he faced to his successes. We also ask the class to create their own portrait of Cesar, using symbolism to tell the story of his incredible life.
